The future is NOW at Rowan!

Laser labs, virtual reality environments, an entirely wireless 200-acre Glassboro campus...Rowan isn’t simply looking towards the future, we ARE the future in the Mid-Atlantic region!

Ideas are sprouting into innovation at South Jersey Technology Park, on Rowan’s West Campus. Just a short ride down Route 322, all new student housing, shopping and dining establishments are quickly taking shape.

Rowan Boulevard, a mostly private $300 million investment, will soon link our beautiful wooded Glassboro campus with the borough’s downtown. Once complete, the boulevard will feature all new housing for more than 800 students plus great dining, shopping and entertainment within walking distance of campus. The first set of student housing will be ready for move-in day for Fall 2009.

Great things are also happening on Rowan’s Camden Campus. Construction of a medical school building will soon commence at the southwest corner of Broadway and Benson Streets for an all new partnership, the Cooper Medical School of Rowan University. And, just this Spring, Rowan’s Board of Trustees approved the purchase of the former First Camden National Bank & Trust, a vast, architecturally significant structure, for use as learning space. As you can see, Rowan is growin' and its expansion will benefit not only the University community but all of South Jersey!
